Margetics outboard service is a diversified marine shop located at 3921 36th Street in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. We are 30 miles North West of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our shop gives us quick access to the Ohio, Monongahela, Beaver and Allegheny Rivers. We are 15 minutes from either the Ohio or West Virginia state borders. We enjoy our diversity and the experience it gives us. In business for more than 20 years, we have grown from a fun hobby to a passionate business. We are proud of everything we do from the 'simple repairs' and 'major rebuilds' to our racing schedule. Our commitment to quality, workmanship, and detail have helped us to grow through the years and expand our services. We enjoy the most detailed and difficult jobs.
Our repair work specializes in engine rebuilding, boring, sleeving, block
repair, and major repair work. We have acquired the skills and tools
to complete all of these jobs and more. Our repairs are based on skill and
workmanship not speed. We won't guarantee a date for completion before
we've seen the job. But, we will guarantee that it will be done correctly.
We are dealers for many major part suppliers allowing us to remain price
competitive while using only the best parts. These supplier agreements
allow us to keep a variety of parts on hand at all times. We also have
access to thousands of other parts. If we don't have it, we can find it. Our
unique position of being racers and mechanics gives us a dual perspective to
racing and engines. We know what parts will be needed before we start the
project 99% of the time. The other 1% we know where to get the part.
Even with our full schedule at the shop, we indulge in a pastime that has become
a family passion. Racing for 25 years has given us a unique perspective on
repair and parts services. We have a family racing team that races both
Formula - One Tunnel boats and SST-120 boats. The Margetic racing
team was featured in the June 2000 edition of Boating Life Magazine as
the Pepsi Formula-One Tunnel Boating team.
